Derived from

malakat (verb) = possess(es)
amliku (verb) = possess(es) (power)
l-malāikati, l-malāikatu, l-malāikata (noun, masculine plural) = the Angels
malakan, malakun (noun, singular) = an Angel

Surah Al-Baqarah 30
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority.” They said, “Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?” Allah said, “Indeed, I know that which you do not know.”

Angels praise and sanctify Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala

Surah An-Nahl 2
He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], “Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me.”

By the command of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala, angels are sent down upon whom He wills

Surah Al-Haj 75
Allah chooses messengers from angels and from mankind, for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things)

Among the angels are messengers of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala

Names of angels I have found in the Noble Qur’an :

Surah Al-Baqarah 97
Say (O Muhammad, to mankind): Who is an enemy to Jibreel! For he it is who hath revealed (this Scripture) to thy heart by Allah’s permission, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, and a guidance and glad tidings to believers
Surah Al-Baqarah 98
Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His Angels and His Messengers, and Jibreel and Meekael then surely Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers
Surah Az-Zukhruf 77
And they will call out, “O Malik, let your Lord decree upon us!” He will say, “Surely you are staying.”
Surah Al-Baqarah 102
And follow that which Ash-Shaytan falsely related against the kingdom of Sulayman. Sulayman disbelieved not; but Ash-Shaytan disbelieved, teaching mankind magic and that which was revealed to the two angels in Babel, Haroot and Maroot. Nor did they (the two angels) teach it to anyone till they had said: We are only a temptation, therefore disbelieve not (in the guidance of Allah). And from these two (angels) people learn that by which they cause division between man and wife; but they injure thereby no-one save by Allah’s permission. And they learn that which harmeth them and profiteth them not. And surely they do know that he who trafficketh therein will have no (happy) portion in the Hereafter; and surely miserable is the price for which they bartered themselves, if they but knew.
Surah As-Sajdah 11
Say, “The Angel of Death who has been entrusted with you will take you up; thereafter to your Lord you will be returned.”
